Han Ji-eun is a gullible writer who was duped out of all she possessed, including her home, by her best friends. She managed to borrow money from actor Lee Young-jae to return to Korea while stranded in China. When she returned, she discovered that Lee Young-jae had purchased her home. In order to reclaim her assets, she got into a one-year contract marriage with Young-jae. Despite losing everything, Ji-eun remains cheery and takes things in stride, and the two's business relationship becomes personal as they begin to rely on and care for one other.
