Hogan's Heroes

Hogan's Heroes is an American sitcom that ran for 168 episodes on the CBS network from September 17, 1965 to July 4, 1971. During World War II, the show was set in a German prisoner-of-war camp. Bob Crane portrayed Colonel Robert E. Hogan, who coordinated an international crew of Allied prisoners in charge of a camp-based Special Operations unit. Werner Klemperer portrayed the camp's commandant, Colonel Wilhelm Klink, while John Banner portrayed the incompetent sergeant of the guard, Hans Schultz. During its six-season run, the series was widely viewed. In 2013, creators Bernard Fein through his estate and Albert S. Ruddy secured the sequel and other independent rights to Hogan's Heroes from Mark Cuban through arbitration, and a film adaptation of the show is in the works.
