The third grade D class at a prominent Tokyo high school is made up of top pupils who scored well on the SATs. It wasn't long until their prior homeroom teacher went insane and quit their job. Students in third grade D class push their homeroom teachers to the brink and watch them crumble mentally. Students see it as a fun game to play with their friends. Students in third-grade D class are introduced to Tsuneo Yoshizawa (Kei Tanaka) as their new homeroom teacher. Tsuneo Yoshizawa maintains a jovial demeanor despite being verbally and physically abused by the pupils. He has never lost his smile. Tsuneo Yoshizawa's students' behavior deteriorates and they devise a scheme to kill him.
