Kemono Jihen
When a series of animal bodies that rot away after a solitary night begin appearing in a remote mountain town, Inugami, an investigative from Tokyo that specializes in the occult, is phoned call to examine.
While working the case, he befriends a weird young boy that operates in the field each day rather than going to school. Shunned by his peers and nicknamed "Dorotab?" after a yokai that lives in the mud, he aids Inugami uncover the reality behind the killings-- yet superordinary forces go to work, as well as while Dorotab? is just a label, it may not be the only thing about the child that isn't human.
