Laverne & Shirley
Laverne & Shirley is a popular comedy that aired on ABC in the United States of America from January27,1976, through May10, 1983. Penny Marshall played the role of Laverne De Fazio, a single woman who shared a room with Cindy Williams' character, Shirley Feeney. Both characters were employed as bottlecappers at a fake Milwaukee brewery known as "Shotz Brewery." The show was a spin-off of Happy Days, as the two main characters had first appeared on Happy Days as Fonzie's friends in the beginning of the original series. The timeline, which was approximately set in the same time period as the series, began in about1958, when the series began, and finished in1967, when the series ended. Garry Marshall was the show's creator, and the show was produced by Paramount Television. Garry Marshall, Edward K. Milkis, and Thomas L. Miller served as executive producers for the show.
