Laugh-out-loud comedy following one large, joyful family as they recount the embarrassing, funny, and ultimately beautiful milestone moments in their lives, as seen through the eyes of its many members. The oldest child, Heather, and her husband, Tim, are dreading the prospect of having an empty nest so much that they are considering having another child. The middle child, Matt, may have just found his true love in his co-worker, Colleen; his coddled youngest brother, Greg, and his wife, Jen, are overwhelmed by the birth of their first child; and the eldest child, Heather, may have just found his true love in his co-worker, Colleen. Their mother, Joan, is the family's doting matriarch who would do anything for her children - as long as she agreed with it - and their father, John, is the boisterous patriarch who is looking for ways to ease the transition into old age. In each of the four episodes that make up a week, the lives of a family are chronicled through a series of short stories. Throughout each episode, the characters make an effort to savor the fleeting moments that make up the entirety of life, as they know that these are the things that will stick with them forever.
