Lee David Zlotoff created the American action-adventure television series MacGyver. Executive producers were Henry Winkler and John Rich. From 1985 to 1992, the show aired on ABC in the United States and on many other networks across the world for seven seasons. Seasons 1, 2, and 7 were shot in Los Angeles, whereas seasons 3–6 were shot in Vancouver. The final episode of the show aired on ABC on April 25, 1992.
