The British sitcom Men Behaving Badly was produced and written by Simon Nye. Gary Strang and his roommates Dermot Povey and Tony Smart are profiled. It originally aired on ITV in 1992. In addition to six seasons, a Christmas special and three feature-length "last orders" episodes were also produced. The series was filmed in and around Ealing, west London, while the series six finale was shot at the Cerne Abbas gigantic. The locale is implied to be South London, with numerous references to Surrey. Hartswood Films produced it, while Thames Television co-produced the first two seasons for ITV. They also contributed with the creation of the BBC's third season onwards. After being shifted to a time slot on BBC1 after the watershed, Men Behaving Badly became a huge success. During BBC Television's 60th anniversary celebrations in 1996, it was chosen the best sitcom in the BBC's history. Additionally, it ranked sixteenth in the Britain's Best Sitcom survey conducted by BBC2 in 2004.
