On May26,2009, Fox aired the pilot episode in the United States. 13 episodes were ordered by Fox TV Studios. Fox Telecolombia's production facilities in Bogotá began filming on June2, 2008. In spite of the show being produced in Colombia's capital city of Bogotá, no Colombian actors were cast as regular characters and only a handful were given occasional roles due of the rigorous American aspect of the series. New cast members include Jacqueline McKenzie; Derek Webster; Nicholas Gonzalez; and Marisa Ramirez "presumably as recurring characters," according to TVWeek.com.
