Moonlighting
Moonlighting was an American television show that ran from March 3, 1985, until May 14, 1989, on ABC. A total of 66 programs were broadcast on the network. The show starred Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd as private detectives. It was one of the first successful and important instances of "dramedy" as a distinct television genre. Al Jarreau, a jazz singer, performed the show's theme tune, which became a smash. The show made Willis a star and gave Shepherd a critical hit after a succession of flops. "The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice" placed #34 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes. The series was named one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All Time" in 2007. David and Maddie's romance was named one of the top TV couples of all time by TV Guide.
