The show stars Adam Beach as George Keeshig, a Cree from the fictional northern Quebec village of Moose who comes home after a decade in Toronto to head the local community television station. Gary Farmer, Jennifer Podemski, Nathaniel Arcand, Michelle Latimer, Diane Flacks, and Billy Merasty are all included in the ensemble. Paul Quarrington is the head writer for the show. Tim Southam directed the television series. In 2008, the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association presented the series with the Indie Award for Best Comedy Series.
