Muscle
Muscle is a sitcom that was produced in the United States of America and broadcast on The WB between January 11, 1995 and May 24, 1995. It was a satire of prime time soap operas that were popular in the 1990s and took place in the made-up New York City location of the fictional Survival Gym. Rob LaZebnik was the one who came up with the idea for the series, and Paul Junger Witt, Tony Thomas, and Gary S. Levine served as executive producers. Muscle was one of the four sitcoms that were originally scheduled to play on the WB during the inaugural two-hour block that ran on Wednesday nights from 9:30 to 8:30 central time. It was the only one of the four that was not renewed for a second season, and it was also the very first series that was canceled on the brand-new WB.
