Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica

It is a reality television show produced and aired by MTV and MuchMusic, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were married at the time of the film's release. The show premiered in August 2003 and lasted for three seasons, with a total of 41 episodes. Since it began on January 26, 2005, and ended on March 30, 2005, the final season broadcast. A divorce was requested by Simpson and Lachey two years after their marriage ended in a legal split on that date, on December 16. It was on June 30, 2006, that Jessica and Nick's divorce became final. A major part of the show's gimmick was to play on the widespread stereotype of "stupid blondes." Simpson questioned Nick about Chicken of the Sea tuna in the first episode, which is perhaps the most famous example "Which of these two items do I have? The caption reads, "Chicken... by the Sea." I know it's tuna, but I'm not sure."
