In the spring of 1986, the six-episode first season originally aired on Tuesdays; in the fall, it was relocated to Wednesdays in prime time. It was held on Wednesdays until March 1988, when it was transferred to Fridays. Although it ran on Saturdays for a brief time in 1992, the show found its home as the centerpiece of ABC's original TGIF Friday-night lineup.
