Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is set in England during the early 19th century and chronicles the narrative of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet's five unmarried daughters after Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy move into the neighborhood. While Bingley takes an instant fancy to Jane, the eldest daughter of the Bennet family, Darcy has difficulties assimilating to local culture and regularly argues with Elizabeth, the second-oldest daughter.
