Yoichi has been raised and trained as a traditional samurai "busshi" for the past seventeen years. He was surprised when his father told him that there was nothing else he could teach him, but he made arrangements for Yoichi to keep training at a dojo owned by one of his father's friends. So, Yoichi has to leave the peace and quiet of the mountain village where he lives and move to the city to live with the family of a friend of his father's so he can keep studying.
