The narrative of David Hobbs, who has spent the previous ten years portraying the ideal father on one of the most popular sitcoms on television. However, when the show comes to an end and his wife returns to her own television career, he finds himself cast in the most difficult job he has ever had to play, which is taking care of the day-to-day requirements of three children who have been accustomed to living without him.
