State of Georgia is a situation comedy on American television. It stars Raven-Symoné, Majandra Delfino and Loretta Devine. The half-hour multi-camera comedy series stars Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life attitude, and her scientific nerd best friend Jo, who are attempting to achieve career and personal progress in New York City. From June 29 through August17,2011, the series aired on ABC Family. 1.32 million individuals watched the debut of the pilot episode. Due to low ratings, ABC Family canceled State of Georgia on September 16, 2011.
