Survivors
Survivors was a BBC science fiction show. It depicts a group of survivors that survived a deadly influenza strain that killed out most of the human race. According to the makers, the series is not a remake of Terry Nation's 1970s BBC series Survivors, but is based on the novel of the same name he wrote after the first season. New series produced two seasons. Season 1 aired on BBC One and BBC HD in November–December2008, and season 2 ended with a cliffhanger. Poor ratings and other factors caused the BBC to terminate Survivors on 13 April 2010. The series premiered in South Africa on BBC Entertainment in September2009, in France on DTTV's NRJ 12 on January12,2010, and on BBC America on February13, 2010. The programme premiered on Channel Nine 21 March 2010.
