Tatau
Tatau follows Kyle and Budgie, two friends from London who are in their twenties and are going to travel the world. Kyle gets a tattoo in the style of a Maori to celebrate the fact that they are going to the Cook Islands. Kyle is snorkeling in a lagoon when he finds the body of Aumea, a local girl, tied to the bottom of the water. Kyle goes back to the lagoon with the police and finds that her body is no longer there. Kyle knows, though, what he saw. Kyle and Budgie want to find out what happened, so they get deeper and deeper into a world of Maori myths, symbols, and hallucinations... until the full meaning of Kyle's tattoo is finally revealed.
