Thanks is an American sitcom that started on the CBS television network and ran for six episodes from 8:30 to 9:00pm ET on Monday nights. The program looks at the ups and downs of the Winthrops, a Puritan family in Plymouth, Massachusetts in the 1600s. Characters are named after John Winthrop, the famous governor of the first Bostonian Puritan community, and John Cotton, another famous Puritan religious leader.
