The Alaskans is a 1959-1960 ABC/Warner Brothers western television series set in the late 1890s at the Skagway port in Alaska. Roger Moore portrays "Silky Harris" and Jeff York portrays "Reno McKee," two adventurers intent on swindling Yukon Territory-bound tourists during the Klondike Gold Rush. Their intentions are obviously confounded by the presence of "Rocky Shaw," "an performer with an appreciation for the finer things in life." Roger Moore's first regular television role in the United States was on this series.
