The Fairly OddParents
Butch Hartman created the Nickelodeon animated television series The Fairly OddParents. Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old kid, is given two fairy godparents named Cosmo and Wanda in the series. The series began as animation segments that aired on Oh Yeah! Cartoons from September 4, 1998 to March 23, 2001 before being picked up as a series. Frederator Studios and, as of season 6, Billionfold, Inc. produce the show. It was distributed outside the United States for the first four seasons by the Canadian company Nelvana International. The Fairly OddParents is the longest-running fantasy TV series in American television history, having aired for more than 16 years, and is now Nickelodeon's second longest-running animated series (behind SpongeBob SquarePants).
