The Fresh Beat Band

The Fresh Beat Band is a Nick Jr. children's television show that features original pop music. Shout, Twist, Marina, and Kiki are the Fresh Beats, who are defined as four best friends in a band who go to music school together and love to sing and dance. The show was shot in Los Angeles, California, at Paramount Studios. Every episode has the same fundamental structure: Each episode begins with a song that foreshadows the band's solution to a problem. The band collaborates to address the situation. When the difficulty is solved, they sing a song that includes the problem and solution in the lyrics. Each episode ends with a rendition of The Fresh Beat Band's final song, "Great Day." Mandy Moore, Sean Cheesman, Chuck Maldonado, Scotty Nguyen, Dreya Weber, Mary Ann Kellogg, Nakul Mahajan, Mihran Kirakosian, Susan Austin, and Fred Tallaksen choreograph the main characters' dances.
