Melanie Barnett makes the decision to enroll at a local college so that she may be with her lover Derwin Davis when he is offered a position with the San Diego Sabers as their new third-string wide receiver. Melanie is adjusting to her new way of life as Derwin frets over the plays that are taking place on the field. She receives a play-by-play account of the lives and relationships of NFL wives, girlfriends, and mom/managers who use their best game to help their men stay on the field and on their arm.
