The plot of "The Haunted Hathaways" revolves around an unconventional blended family. When Michelle Hathaway moves to New Orleans, Louisiana, with her children Taylor and Frankie to operate a bakery, they rapidly discover that living in the "Big Easy" is very different. Unbeknownst to them, their new residence is already inhabited by jazz musician father Ray Preston and his sons Miles and Louie. After deciding to live together, they begin to care for and rely on one another while simultaneously driving each other insane - just as any real family would. Despite their initial apprehension, the Hathaways quickly find how enjoyable living with spirits can be.
