In Heirs, a group of rich and elite high school students are prepared to take over their families' business empires. These affluent youngsters appear to have everything under control, except for their romantic relationships. Kim Tan, heir to the Empire Group, is sent to the United States to study abroad. In actuality, it is a type of exile, as his older half-brother plans to take over the family business. While in the United States, Kim Tan meets Cha Eun Sung, who has traveled from Korea to find her older sister. He falls in love with her, unaware that she is the daughter of his family's housekeeper.
