The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries

Inspector Alleyn Mysteries is a British detective TV series based on nine Ngaio Marsh novels. From 1990 through1994, it broadcast. In the pilot, Simon Williams played DI Alleyn. William Simons was Detective Sergeant Fox, Alleyn's "Watson," and Belinda Lang was Alleyn's love interest, Agatha Troy. Williams was unavailable when the first series was created, therefore Patrick Malahide played the lead instead of Simons and Lang. Each episode was based on a different book. Eight Malahide episodes are on DVD in the US and UK. Australia has all nine episodes.
