Emma, a sweet foster kid who can't seem to get a break, discovers she has an identical twin sister, Sutton, who, unlike Emma, was adopted by wealthy parents and appears to be living the perfect life. Sutton persuades Emma to live with her for a few days while she follows a lead on their birth mother. Emma is initially delighted to undertake this favor for her sister, but she quickly discovers that Sutton has gone missing and may be in danger. Emma must now decide whether to come clean to Sutton's family and risk her own safety in the hope of discovering her twin sister's true whereabouts, as well as the truth about why they were separated in the first place.
