The Millionaire

The Millionaire is an American anthology series that first aired on CBS from January 19, 1955, to June 8, 1960, under the sponsorship of Colgate-Palmolive. The series, which aired during the Golden Age of Television and spanned five seasons, examined the positive and negative effects of sudden and unexpected wealth. With one exception, it recounted the tales of individuals who received $1,000,000 from a donor who stipulated they never see him. The series was known under two titles in syndication: The Millionaire and If You Had a Million.
