The Mystic Nine
The plot of this prequel to The Lost Tomb centers on the adventures of nine grave robbing families in the 1940s. General Zhang Qi Shan entered a weird mine with the assistance of his pals Fortune Teller Qi Tie Zue and Opera Singer Er Yue Hong in order to locate a secret ancient tomb. After facing unimaginable dangers, he revealed a Japanese plot to murder the citizens of Changsha. The men worked together to foil the Japanese's plot, rescuing their city in the process.
