The Oblongs

It is an American animated television series aimed towards adults and teenagers alike. Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children is based on a collection of characters presented in the picture book by creator Angus Oblong. Jobsites and Mohawk Productions in partnership with Warner Brothers Television made the TV series, and They Might Be Giants wrote and performed the show's theme song. From April 1, 2001 to May 20, 2001, The Oblongs aired on The WB, and again from August 25, 2002 to October 20, 2002, it aired on Adult Swim, a total of thirteen episodes were produced. No other details have been released about a possible Adult Swim relaunch of the series, which has been rumored for some time. On October 4, 2005, all thirteen episodes of The Oblongs were made available on DVD for the first time.
