The Real Housewives of Vancouver is a reality TV show in Canada that is on the Slice cable network. It is the first Canadian series in the Real Housewives series. Production for the Shaw Media show began in August 2011. At 9 p.m. ET/PT on April4,2012, the show premiered on the air. The two-hour premiere set a record for the most viewers the network has ever had. It had 1.2 million people watch it. On May30,2012, Slice said that the show would be back for a second season. Jody Claman, Mary Zilba, and Ronnie Negus were all back for season two, as well as Amanda Hansen, Ioulia Reynolds, and Robin Richmond Reichman, who joined the show for the first time. First episode: February5, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT. Second season: February5, 2013 To make more episodes, Slice didn't want to have a reunion for the second season. They didn't want to have to cut the season even more short. As of June6,2013, Shaw Media-which owns Slice-says that the show has been put on "hold" while the company looks into other shows.
