Riley and his younger brother Todd respond to an advertisement for Fleemco Replacement People and order a spy mother and a daredevil father as new parents. As Riley and Todd go on adventures (or misadventures, as the case may be), they link up with Conrad Fleem to replace any adult in their lives whom they dislike, but they don't get to choose the replacements and their good intentions don't always work out.
