Touched by an Angel is an American drama series that debuted on CBS on September 21, 1994, ran for 211 episodes and nine seasons, and ended on April 26, 2003. The series, created by John Masius and produced by Martha Williamson, features Roma Downey as Monica, an angel, and Della Reese as Monica's supervisor Tess. Throughout the series, Monica is assigned with delivering wisdom and messages from God to a variety of individuals at a crossroads in their life. Andrew, the angel of death, frequently joins them beginning in season three.
