Unchained Reaction

Discovery Channel's Unchained Reaction is a science and engineering reality game show. Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, the hosts of the science-entertainment series MythBusters, serve as the judges and executive producers for the competition. The series premiered on March18,2012, and sets two teams of varied backgrounds against each other to build an elaborate chain reaction contraption. Five days are given to each team to build a series of mechanisms around a predetermined subject, and each team is given the same tools and supplies. In the middle of each week, the teams are given a "missing link" item that they must add to their machines. Winner is chosen by Savage, Hyneman, and a guest judge.
