WKRP in Cincinnati

The quirky individuals working at a radio station in Cincinnati are put through a whirlwind of transitions when the station plays top-40 rock 'n' roll after playing more subdued music. Andy Travis, the station's new programming director, recruits a new DJ by the name of Venus Flytrap to collaborate with Dr. Johnny Fever, a jaded veteran of the station. A neurotic newsman named Les Nessman, an eager beaver named Bailey Quarters, a sleazy salesman named Herb Tarlek, a blonde bombshell named Jennifer Marlowe who serves as the station's ultra-capable receptionist, and a station manager named Arthur Carlson, whose authoritarian mother owns WKRP, make up the rest of the eccentric bunch.
