Xavier, the renegade. Creators John Lee, Vernon Chatman, Jim Tozzi and Alyson Levy conceived up the American CGI fantasy comedy series Angel. Wonder Showzen was also created by Lee and Chatman. PFFR produced the show, which featured animation by Cinematico. When did it air? It aired at midnight on November 4, 2007, and was available on Adult Swim's website as early as November 1, 2007. Non-linear and illogical plots characterize Xavier, a funny comedy about an itinerant humanoid pseudo-shaman and spiritual seeker. A psychedelic, New Age-inspired lens is used to convey the show's black humour, surrealist, and absurdist humor. TV-MA is also a common rating for the show's violent, graphic, frequently bloody violence, as well as strong sexual material, use of racially/ethnically inappropriate language, grotesque imagery, and content regarded "too morbid and too unintelligible for young viewers." Because of low ratings, the series Xavier: Renegade Angel, which debuted on November4,2007, was canceled on April16, 2009 after 20 episodes.
