Sailor Johannes Blom goes back to his home port, after seven years at sea, to locate that Sally, the woman he has been thinking of while away, is totally despondent. 7 years previously, obstreperous Alexander Blom, brings his mistress Sally to cope with him, his spouse Alice, boy Johannes, as well as crew, aboard the salvage watercraft he captains.
