Metallica & San Francisco Symphony: S&M2

On October 9, 2019, S&M2 will be put on by Trafalgar Releasing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Metallica's groundbreaking S&M concerts and album, which were recorded with the San Francisco Symphony. See them perform with the Symphony again as legendary conductor Michael Tilson Thomas leads part of the show. This is the start of his last season in San Francisco. The shows, which were recorded live on September 6th and 8th, also celebrate the opening of the historic Chase Center, a state-of-the-art building on the city's waterfront. This theatrical release gives millions of fans around the world the chance to go back in time and see the show as a modern-day big-screen concert. It includes Metallica classics from the 1999 S&M release as well as symphonic versions of new songs.
