Spud
It's 1990. Second, Spud Milton's first year at a prestigious private boarding school for boys is about to begin. John Milton is a young man from Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa, who earns a scholarship at a prestigious private academy. Spud has his hands full adjusting to his new home with lads like Gecko, Rambo, Rain Man, and Mad Dog. Spud takes his first hesitant steps toward manhood along the road. (It appears to be a long path.) Spud is a singleton. He has crazy parents and a senile grandmother. In his father's room at the back of the family home, his mother runs a shebeen. When it comes to shopping for Spud's underpants, his mum is a free spirit and a teenager's worst nightmare.
