Airwolf is a television series that aired in the United States from 1984 to 1987. The show follows a high-tech military helicopter codenamed Airwolf and its crew as they execute numerous missions, many of which involve espionage and have a Cold War flavor. Donald P. Bellisario developed the show. Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine, Alex Cord, and Jean Bruce Scott feature in the first three seasons. Following the cancellation of the first series, a fourth season was recorded in Canada for the USA Network with a totally new cast and on a considerably smaller budget.
