The first episode premiered at Southern California's 2008 Anime Expo, but in Japan on TBS on October3, 2008. The final episode aired on March 20, 2009. To honor the series' anime adaptation, Shimizu and Shimoguchi created a one-shot manga reproducing the anime's first episode, whose plot differs from the manga's.
