COMPUTER CHESS, which takes place over the course of a weekend tournament for chess software programmers thirty or so years ago, brings viewers back to a time when the battle between technology and the human spirit seemed a little more up for grabs. It is our privilege to meet the quirky geniuses who had the foresight to train a metal box to defeat man (literally) at his own game, so creating the foundation for artificial intelligence as we currently know it and as it will be known in the future.
