Using a kaleidoscopic mosaic of scenes from everyday life, the author investigates the processes of gender construction and assimilation in contemporary Italian society. Specifically, the author asks the following question: "What are the choreographies of bodies, collective rituals, and behaviors for each of the genres that condition our identities?" Normal is an exhibition that explores the everyday and communal staging of the male and female universe in which we all participate. The exhibition tells the story of normality and how it has become strange to us through paintings that have a powerful visual impact.
