More than three hundred years after the Battle of Dannoura, the Genji and Heike clans come face to face in a destitute mountain town where there is talk of a buried treasure. One day a revolver-wielding stranger wanders into town, a lone gunman burdened with emotional scars but blessed with tremendous skill. He comes face to face with two warring clans who are both on the hunt for a secret treasure in a small western hamlet. Recognizing that his services are beneficial to either side, he offers himself to the clan that will provide the highest portion of the available money. Yoshitsune commands his Genji gang, which is represented in white, whereas Kiyomori commands his Heike gang, which is represented in red. As the important actors speculate about which group the gunman will join, expectations collide. With dirty tricks, betrayal, desire and finally love all thrown into the mix, the scenario erupts into an all-out battle of wills.
