Dororo
In exchange for dominance in the battlefield, a samurai lord has traded his newborn son's organs to forty-eight demons. Despite this, the abandoned newborn survives thanks to a medicine man who provides him with rudimentary prosthetics—lethal ones that the aggrieved son will use to chase down a slew of demons and restore his body piece by piece before confronting his father. On his travels, the young hero meets an orphan who claims to be Japan's best thief.
